Squirt has discovered how to find other people in mirrors. Not just by looking in the mirror until she sees the other person, but actually moving the mirror to find people. Sorry this video is a little longer but it is worth it! How smart babies are!!!

Wonderful Cookies!!!

We made these FABULOUS cookies and thought we would share the recipe with everyone.






"Best Oatmeal Cookies"

1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup shortening
2 eggs
3 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups dried cranberries, butterscotch chips, or semi sweet chocolate chips, optional
1 cup chopped pecans, optional

Beat sugars, margarine and shortening until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; mix well. Combine oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, if desired in a seperate bowl. Add to margarine mixture; mix well. Stir in chips and pecans. Chill dough 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350 F. Drop by rounded tsp onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 - 12 min. Let stand 5 min before removing to racks to cool. Makes 5 dozen.
